LESSON STRUCTURE
Weekly classes
Initially you will take part in 2 sessions a week. These will teach you the basics, and introduce you to sparring, which is the fun part of martial arts training.
As you progress there will be a third session. This will be at no extra cost and will be a purely sparring session covering all ranges. Please see the section on Open Matt for details.
Sessions will be an hour and a half long.
Weekly sessions are for adults only, 16 years plus.
Private groups
A private group will consist of up to 4 people for an hour session. Topics covered are up to the group. These sessions will need to be booked with Tom in advance.
Short courses
There will be occasional short courses covering a variety of topics, e.g. Ladies self defence, basic intro to kickboxing etc. They will be 1 session a week over a 6 week period. Any ideas on topics for short courses would be gratefully received.
1-2-1
Private 1-2-1 sessions are available on any topic. It can be very useful to have an instructors undivided attention for a whole hour and improvments can be dramatic.
So if there is any area that you’re finding hard to get to grips with, or you just prefer to learn with no distractions on an individual basis then a 1-2-1 could be the answer. These sessions will need to be booked with Tom in advance.
